Job Overview

The Civil Engineer will play a vital role in the successful execution of our construction projects from conception through to completion. This individual will be responsible for overseeing on-site activities, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in strict adherence to our quality standards and all regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution: Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of construction projects, ensuring all timelines and deliverables are met.
• Site Management: Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities, finishing, and quality control.
• Quality Assurance & Control: Implement and enforce stringent quality control programs. Conduct regular inspections of materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with structural designs, architectural drawings, and specifications.
• Contractor & Labour Management: Supervise and coordinate the work of contractors, subcontractors, and on-site labor. Ensure efficient workforce deployment and high productivity.
• Material Management: Oversee the procurement, receipt, and inventory management of all construction materials. Ensure materials meet quality standards and are available as needed to avoid project delays.
• Technical Oversight: Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings, providing technical guidance and resolving any on-site engineering challenges.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all construction activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations (including ISO standards), and other legal requirements stipulated by the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) or relevant authorities.
• Progress Reporting: Maintain detailed daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. Document site activities, including work completed, resources used, and any issues encountered.
• Budget & Cost Control: Assist the Project Manager in monitoring project costs, tracking expenses, and ensuring the project remains within the approved budget.
• Safety Management: Enforce strict health and safety protocols on-site to create a safe working environment for all personnel.
